A forum for policy-makers, practitioners and researchers
The increasing availability of cheap alcohol across the globe is cause for concern. Evidence shows the lower the price of alcohol, the higher the levels of consumption and in turn higher rates of harm. Put simply, when it comes to reducing alcohol harm, price matters. Join international and national experts to discuss the latest evidence of pricing policies and how public health practitioners use this research to frame messages to advocate for policies targeting cheap alcohol.
This event is hosted by the Institute of Alcohol Studies (IAS) and the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education (FARE) and free to all participants.
